How to get your website on Google in India
Step 1: Publish a fast, mobile-first site
Google indexes pages it can crawl quickly on mobile. Avoid heavy page builders that load in 8–10 seconds on 4G. Use clear service pages, one H1 per page, and a contact or WhatsApp call to action.
WebKraft builds lightweight HTML sites with sitemap.xml and robots.txt included on Growth and Premium plans.
Step 2: Add your site to Google Search Console
Verify your domain at search.google.com/search-console. Submit your sitemap URL (for WebKraft clients: https://www.thewebkraft.com/sitemap.xml on your own domain once live).
Use the URL Inspection tool to request indexing for your homepage, main service pages, and blog posts. New sites often show “Discovered – currently not indexed” for several weeks; that is normal.
Step 3: Local SEO and Google Business Profile
Create or claim your Google Business Profile with the same name, phone, and address as your website. Add photos, services, and weekly posts.
Link your site from Instagram bio, WhatsApp status, and email signature. Internal links between city pages, blog guides, and your homepage help Google understand your topics.
